The court has order Country Coaches assets to be sold at auction on February 4th. This includes ten completed coaches they couldn't sell.

I hope for my Country Coach friends that somebody buys the "intellectual" property who will supply support to CC owners. Like Parliament Coach is doing for Bluebird owners.

Maybe since Bob Lee is running a repair business he'll buy them.

FWIW, I went to their website and all of the finished units seem to have the "veranda" feature.  It's like a slideout without a roof.  If that doesn't appeal to you, then you probably won't be too interested in the auction.  I wonder if the "unfinished" coaches have this feature?

I think the Howard's decision to build "spec" coaches with the Veranda was one of the reasons that couldn't sell anything.

Where is the website - I didn't see anything about the auction on CC's or the auctioneer's web pages.

Ken,

My first thought when they came out with the Veranda was "what are they trying to do?". Personally i could not envision why anyone would want something like that. Guess they didn't!

My FIRST thought was, wow, pretty cool.  Thinking the technology and all, then second and overriding thought was, why.  I can't imagine sitting in a cg, up on the porch.  Made no sense.

I was wondering about Bob Lee myself, maybe buy everything he needs to start again.
