Have a2006 Aspect. Toad is 2004 Honda CRV. While towing with electrical hok up connected the tail light fuses in both the MH & Toad blow when the MH lights are turned on. The brake, turn & flashers are no problem. Both have a 4 pin connector

What does M/H do with lights on and no toad??
What does toad do with lights on and not hooked to M/H?
What does toad do with with lights on and connected to M/H...M/H lights off.

Its possible the wiring harness in the toad tail light circuit is grounded to the frame somewhere. Performing the above tests will narrow things down.

Welcome to rvforum!  I'm leaving your post here in the Winnie board at least for a while until see where this goes.  Your problem could be somewhere with the house wiring.

The wire for the tail lights in the toad is shorted to ground. It could be on the motorhome side (coach fuse will blow with headlights on even if toad not connected) or on the toad side (fuses blow only when connected to coach).
