We currently have a 23' travel trailer and are planning to get a new Puma 5th wheel by Forest River. Has anyone had any experience with them? Our research indicates a 5th wheel is a good move for us because of ease in towing. Are they also easier to back up with and park? How about hooking up and unhooking? We already own a Ford F250 w/ a short bed. I know we will need to get a sliding hitch. Any that are better than others? We were just going to have the dealer mount it for a cost of $700. We live in CT but find we can get the best deal by far from a dealer in Iowa (they had great feedback on their web site). We will we'll need to drive there to pick it up. Is this a good idea? Lots of questions for our first post, but answers to any or all will be appreciated.
