First post on this forum, so hope to do things the right way!    The last boat I bought came with an Equalizer WDH rated at 1200/12,000...way too much overkill for a 3000# boat that's already balanced on the trailer...and stays on flat land and short distances.
Offering it up to the boating forum resulted in a lot of comments, but it's pretty obvious that we boaters don't know as much as RV people about balancing larger loads to the towing vehicle.

My questions (2) are:
when would you see the best (most appropriate/safest) reason to use a WDH for lighter loads (under 10,000)?

Is there a Classified section on this forum that can be used to sell such a hitch?

Thanks in advance for the education.
