bought truck camper for my 1978 w200 dodge. this guy had it in a garage.out side of it in good shape. inside needs some work. it has a toilet and sink. no shower. what would be the best way to tackle this project. to restore. rip the celling and walls out. and no a/c. wife wants a/c. any ideas will be helpful.

The basket cases are a lot of work to rebuild and usually not worth it.  Usually, you can find a truck camper that is in presentable condition (though maybe with a few flaws) for less than the materials cost for a major restoration project.  Truck campers are usually sized to fit any short bed pickup, any longbed pickup, or sometimes either, and with at most a little shimming you should be able to use any camper.

People rebuild Avion C-10 and C-11 campers because they look cool and aren't made anymore.  Do a google search on those and there are some stories of what's involved.
