Read the following iin an online RV newsletter:
"Cummins, Inc, will pay a $2.1 million fine and recall 405 engines under a settlement agreement regarding the Clean Air Act. From 1998 to 2006, the company shipped more than 570,000 heavy duty diesel engines without pollution equipment included."

I don't know what engines are involved, or any other details...  perhaps someone does?

Wow! More than 570,000 people lucked out and got engines without the pollution crap. That's like winning the lottery.  ;) ;D ;) ;D

It's a tempest in a teapot - only 405 engines actually reached consumers without the required anti-pollution devices installed.
