This may sound like a "dumb" woman's question but here goes. I need to fix the vinyl, I think, trim that covers the end trim on the cabinets. It runs from the ceiling to the wall. It is coming off and seems too hard to wrap back around the wood so I would like new trim but can't find it anywhere. Maybe if I knew what to call it I'd have better luck. Anyone know what I am talking about? This on the upper cabinets only. I've all ready found many great suggestions here so I hope you can help. Thanks!

You can usually find various styles of contact paper in home stores, Walmart, etc.. Sometimes it is in the area where they sell shelving or shelf liners and can be wood grain, patterned, or plain. It isn't great stuff, but it would cover the wood.
What you probably now have is self-stick wood veneer, aka pressure sensitive veneer. It is available in vinyl or real wood but you usually have to order it from a woodworking supply place. The Kitchen Remodeling Center at Lowes or Home Depot can get it, but they normally sell it along with replacement cabinet doors an such. You can order it online too. Here are a couple sources:
