In 2007 had problem where fan in ac unit would cease to work but compressor and unit would continue to run only, in the early morning hours. Problem was solved with the installation of an control relay. In April of 2009 we replaced the entire ac unit due to a freon leak in the tubing. Now the current unit has stopped blowing air again in the early morning hours leaving the unit and compressor running. Has anyone else experienced this or are we haunted by the ac spook? I certainly hope that this problem does not lead to a freon problem as before requiring the replacement of the unit. Is a Dometic ac unit any better?
