Has anyone restored an old camper, or, know of old camper restore groups?  A friend gave me a 1961 GMC truck with a 1961 camper. I'm planning on restoring it. It seems like it would be a really fun project.  Looking on the web there isn't too much out there as far as info goes. 
 
well i have restored a couple of campers over the years,it is a good project to tackle.
not very difficult to do,of course any project can get out of hand.

I restored my 86 DP MH, "fun project" you probably enjoy getting root canal work done with out Novocain. If you have the time and enough beer I can see doing it and thinking its fun. :)
 
I have been restoring this 2000 Shasta that was reared ended, it is fiberglass (Filon) and for the back end I used aluminium siding
