With regards to the Hybrid FRED chassis; does anyone think that Freightliner will ever develop at Hybrid version of the XC, XCS, and PowerLiner chassis?
Or in other words; a Hybrid version of the traditional diesel pusher chassis?

I don't see why they should.  Hybrids gain their efficiency in stop and go driving, where the hybrid design minimizes engine idling - they have little or no advantage on the open road, which is were motorhomes do most of their driving.

The hybrid FRED is piggybacking on development used for in-city delivery vans using essentially the same configuration.  There's no equivalent for the rear engine pusher chassis.
