Hi all,
We're planning to get a conversion van, and we have no skill to DIY. We can't really afford new, and are at a complete loss as to how to figure out whether the asking prices on the used ones we see online are reasonable. The NADA blue book doesn't seem to include class B's. Any suggestions anyone can make about how to make an informed decision would be very welcome!

Thanks,

Hi Gary,
Thanks for the reply. I did figure out how to use the NADA guide to look things up, but the specific models I wanted to find weren't listed; a '97 Chinook Travel Van was the first, and now as Tavel Home 2000. No luck on either.
Maybe the next one, eh?
Cheers,
Gani

The Chinooks are in there, though the model names may not match up. Hard to know whether they are actually different models or just different listing content. Sometimes you have to go by size or other major feature. Should at least give you a ball park estimate for a similar size novel of that brand. Do not rely on the picture in the NADA book - it's just a generic icon.

NADA is not consistent in its listing either. Sometimes they list under the parent corporation name or manufacturer name and sometimes under the model name. Makes life difficult.
