Love my new Winegard Carryout dish
« on: April 25, 2010, 06:10:53 PM »
We just completed our first weekend camping trip using the Winegard Carryout automatic dish. The weather was cool & wet so we spent some time in the camper watching tv. It only took about 8 minutes to hook up the Carryout and download the guide. What a pleasure not having to hassle with a tripod, and compass and getting everything set. This will be a great camping season! ;D

Thanks for the report. Make sure you have that Carry-out chained to some good anchor. It's an expensive piece of gear to leave lying around all night.

The few times I have set up a tripod/dish (due to trees blocking our roof dishes), it was not a pleasant experience, so we try our best to avoid campgrounds with trees.  Having a cube in the bay on standby would be a good thing, it looks like a terrific product.

So far I am impressed how easy it sets up and aquires the signal.  It does have a steel handle welded on the bottom to secure it down with. I have a heavy masterlock cable lock that I secured it to a picnic cable with
