We're heading to the Grand Canyon and are looking for recommendations on where to stay. We'd like a quality park with full hook-ups as close to Grand Canyon Village as possible. Any recommendations are appreciated.

You probably won't be able to get into Trailer Village which is located at the south rim. Try and Google Tusayan campgrounds.

Grand Canyon Camper Village is a private park about 6 miles south of the Park entrance in Tusayan.  Nothing fancy, just a grassy field with gravel roads and hookups, but it's the best choice if you can't get space inside the park.  It's also convenient to several restaurants if you want to eat out instead of cooking.

One tip - if you buy a weekly pass on your first trip into the Park, you can use the bypass lane and avoid the backups on subsequent entries.

Camper Village is about it out side of the park that is close located in Tusayan AZ. We stayed there last July for two days. Nothing fancy but you can walk to the IMAX theater just across the way. Avoid the local steak house just was not worth the wait or the price.
Happy Travels.
