Folks,  I was rather amused when I read the following at http://www.rvforum.net/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=155:canada-brake-laws-by-province&catid=22:rving-in-canada&Itemid=45

"Editor's note: Thorough searching through 146 pages of the territory's Motor Vehicle Act (1999) and amendments failed to uncover any trailer or supplemental braking laws for Nunavut."

The reason I'm amused is that there are no roads to Nunavut from the outside world.  You can only get there by water or air.  Now there might be a few locations available by ice road.  I doubt it as they pretty much all come out of Yellowknife but it's possible there are some that go so far as to enter the fringes of Nunavut.  Now whether it's the NWT or Nunavut the locations available to RVers via ice road you wouldn't want to visit as they will have hundreds of trucks on per day hauling in supplies, days will be very short and it'll be freaking cold.

Ahh, according to Wiki there is actually one ice road that goes into Nunavut a little bit.  See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highways_in_Nunavut

Thanks for the info. As you'll see in that article, the material originated with RV Explorer, and was reprinted here with permission.
