Bought my first TC and now I have a question,
when you are parked for the night/weekend and you want to level out your TC, do you leave your turnbuckles on and level out the TC? or do you loosen them up, level out your TC then tighting your turnbuckles back down? or do you just take em off and level it out.
Thanks
Nick

We always got as level as we could with the truck, then undid the turnbuckles, dropped the jacks to the ground and leveled using the jacks.

We always carry several short pieces of 2x6 or 2x8 with us.  We would try to level out the vehicle by using these as shims under the truck tires.  Sometimes we got it pretty level.......sometimes not and we lived with it.  We don't have power jacks so putting them down and up each day is a nuisance.  The blocks also come in handy as pads if you do take your camper off.
