RV FORUM MOAB RALLY, MAY 8-15, 2011

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an RV or an interest in RVing!
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Nice shot of the Park Avenue hike group.
Just thought I post taken from the same area showing the same bunch of flowers taken during the 2007 Moab rally.

Terry,

Sure know how to hurt a guy!!! Here we are just west of Omaha with nothing more exciting than having water and electric. :) Sure do miss the Moab rally but, as it turned out, we could not have made it. Looking forward to seeing you in Yellowstone!!

Are there any objections to us bringing our 19 year old son?  He loves Moab and doesn't have anything else going on this weekend.  We charish any time he wants to spend with his mother and father, you know how teenagers are.  Mike.

Mike,

No.  By all means, if your son wants to be with you, we certainly would encourage it.  When do you expect to arrive?

Love the pictures of the 7 Mile Rim run. I enjoy seeing places that I'll probably never get to.

We're off for an afternoon of geocaching Moab.

Our first offroad experience today in a UniMOG twelve passenger four wheeler. We took a level four trail called Hells Revenge. What a great day. Here are some pictures.

Betty Brewer said:
Looks like the Canyonlands by Night Dinner and Boat Cruise idea  had only 6 sign up so we don't qualify for a group rate, nor do we have to make any reservations to attend.  If you want to go to dinner only it is $20 and change  per person plus tip.  It can easily and quickly accomodate groups.

Friday night May 13 is the designated night for those of us going.  7 pm dinner and 8 pm cruise So you can still change your plans and join us when it warms up to 85 by the end of the week.
Betty,
Judy was talking to a woman (not part of our group) at the laundry room this evening about the Canyonlands by Night Dinner & Cruise.  She told Judy that she & her husband had made reservations for the Friday night 7 pm dinner & 8 pm cruise so I just called & made reservations for Judy & me.  I told Jennifer at Canyonlands that there would be more people in our group who want to sit together for dinner & the cruise.  Jennifer suggested that people make reservations & mention that they are with the RV Forum group.

Thanks Mike,

So for folks who want to go on the Canyonlands by Night  dinner Cruise or just Dinner , call (435) 259-5261.They will take your credit card number.  Let them know you are with the RVForum Group so we can be seated together.  Friday Night May 13.

She did mention to me that your reservation is a committment and there is no cancellation refund if you change your mind. They can take 120 or so on the crusie and now have 40  or so reservations.  They do not cancel for rain.  So you can  take your chance with a reservation or without.

Betty

Along the way we stopped to look at the Birthing Rock pictographs.
