We have reached the age where people come to us on Turkey Day.

LOL Carl, a nice way to put it. Our only family in CA is caught between us and in-laws. So they either alternate the holidays or have Thanksgiving at one and Christmas at the other. We really like seeing our grandson open his Christmas presents, so we're happy to give up Thanksgiving to the in-laws.

We are in Florida to spend Thanksgiving in Charlotte Harbor with my folks, first time we have managed this in years..

Will you drive to your sister's by toad?

Yeah, the Saturn makes a great and fun runabout and is cheap to run.

Jim Dick: what do you mean no fair on my ten mile bike ride to lunch?  No one rides bikes at TGO?  Lots of organized rides in Tucson and I plan to join some.  You should have seen the gorgeous feminine decoration at that coffee shop (grin).

Steve,

Yes, there are organized rides but haven't had time to do any. Besides I just ordered a new tire for the bike yesterday. Sidwall is giving out. When I rode the trail in Huntington Beach I hit a pothole and blew a hole in the sidewall of the front tire. I don't know why it didn't go flat. Discovered it when I got back. Should have bought two. :( One of the guys with whom I ride wanted me to go this week but the tire won't be in until Friday.

Decorations at the mall are very nice. They're even putting up some for Christmas. ;D ;D

This is not about where I'll spend T-day, but rather as a Canuck to wish all my Framily US friends a very happy T-day, wherever you spend it.  There is so much for us on both sides of the border to be thankful for, that I make the US T-day another specific opportunity to think and reflect on how fortunate we are.

Ciao,

Doug

I'm with Doug on this one.

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all our American friends and to those friends we haven't met yet. May you enjoy the time with friends, family, framily as you choose and let's all be thankful for the good things we are given, while remembering those whose Thanksgiving is not so great this year.

John & Mary-Ann

Thanks john and Doug.  We always welcome our friends from Canada to join us in celebrating and giving thanks for all that we enjoy both in Canada and here.

We will be at home in Yadkin. We are having about 20 people for T-dinner including all of our kids
and grandkids. One of my cousins and her family and an assortment of friends that we have
accumulated over the years.

We hope each one of you has a happy and safe Thanksgiving

We will be spending Thanksgiving Day on the road to Yuma.  I have a date with Jerry Ray on Friday morning  so I can learn how to drive  :).

So glad you're going to keep the Barth.  I hope we can see you both when you're here in Yuma.  Lots of framily around.

Glad to hear you are going to take over the driving.  Hope you will have time to get together whileyou are in Yuma.  Have a safe trip to Yuma.

Anne,

Glad to hear that you are willing to take on the driving.  Pat, like Sam did most of our driving this last year and 1/2 because of my problems.  It is nice to be able to do the things we like and I think I will be more able this coming year.

Jerry was Pat's teacher so I know you will have a great learning experience.  Say Hi to Arlyne and he for us.

Hi to all,

We still technically have the Barth up for sale, but this doesn't seemed to be the best time to try and sell an RV.  In any case, I need to learn to drive it properly, and also park it. After the driving course I'm hoping we have a little less of the white knuckle business :).

Three Thanksgivings ago Scott came for a visit and never left Rio Communities.  ;D ;D ;D

Karen and her family wont be able to drive down as shes had a migrane for over a week and is almost unable to function. Her appointment with a headache specialist this week. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

All our RVFramily well be in our Thanksgiving thoughts at hacienda Maxwell.

Anne, we're so glad your taking the RV course. Drop by the Virtual Campfire nest Wed and tell us all about it!

For all of you who are traveling for Thanksgiving, be safe!? ;D? Hubby and I will stay parked where we are, with all the phones turned off, gorging ourselves on everything we can get our fingers on, while watching movies. Probably take a nap, and do it all over again!? ;D

Why I know a couple that even caught a flight from Tucson to Las Vegas to celebrate with framily.?

Hi Ron

Yes, Liliane and I did that, to spend a great Thanksgiving with Jerry and Ardra, you and Sam (and tasted her pies for the first time) and a whole gang from the Framily.  Great memories.  This year we are with John and Judy Maguire in Seattle - we're going to Squamish tomorrow to celebrate there, in the same hotel where they were married (and we first met them) six years ago.  This weekend we'll be with the couple who bought our Prevost (in Tacoma), then fly back to London on Tuesday.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our Framily friends.

Terry and Liliane Nathan

Terry and Liliane,
