Oh, boy, I dunnit good this time.
I have been nursing a small leak in the front overhead window on our C for several years, and have completely removed the glass on one occasion to clean and re-install it. That was about 3 years ago.
This time, I cracked the glass. Not OMG it busted! Just cracked.
None the less, it needs replaced. I searched the library for "glass" and got some interesting posts, but no real sources.
I need to find a 58.75X13.75 replacement glass. Anyone know where to find such a piece and/or $ome idea of the co$t?
For what it's worth, the problem since day one seems to be a corner that is a bit off radius or something. I can get 3 corners to seat well, but the 4th has little contact area between the glass and frame. Unfortunately, I was not careful to install the glass upside down compared to the way it was, and re-installed it with the bad corner down. I did not have enough sealant to redo the job, so I smothered the bad corner in hopes it would hold. It did for a while, but the leak is back.
Thanks for reading, I look forward to any insight that can be offered.
