It has astronomy photos from telescopes around the world, the Hubble telescope, and some photos taken by Astronauts from the Space Station.
If you click on "discover the cosmos" above the first photo yo can go all the way back to June of '95. I find it interesting to see the dramatic change in photo resolution in that amount of time.
