Installed without any extra holes. Removed crank up TV ariel which I don't use because of Dish system (that Black thing) and attached one end where it was, the other end to the awning. I put it up and down with the use of an additional 8 foot ladder by myself. Canoe is 14 foot and first I leaned it against the RV and over the Ladder. I then placed the 8 foot ladder under the Canoe. I stepped on the ladder back towards motorhome and hauled the canoe up a few feet. I then spin around facing the RV and back up the ladder and push the Canoe on. I then use the 8 foot ladder and carefully go up on the RV and place the canoe and the stapes. I used 2 Keeper Ratchet tie-down's 8 ft 800 Lbs working load limit. I cheated on the side attached to the awning by passing one hook through the other. I would appreciate any recommendations here as I leave in 2 weeks and I believe I have done a good enough job. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
