I have a generator that is supposedly rated for RV campgrounds.  It is still too loud.  Any suggestions on how to make it quieter?  One person mentioned building a box (with fans) for his.  Anyone have any ideas on how to go about that?
 
I have seen where some folks have taken automotive mufflers, had the local muffler shop cobble together an adapter to fit the exhaust of the gen unit and gotten good results.
