Joanne and I just got back from a one week trip "Up the Bruce". The Bruce Peninsula forms the western boundary of the Georgian Bay and is "cottage area". Sad to say we had not been up there in 16 years. Good to say almost everything is still the same: wonderful views, slower pace, and nice Ontario people. At the tip of The Bruce is the small fishing village of Tobermory. The area has excellent scuba diving (40'-70' visibility), beautiful scenery on the Niagara Escarpment and wonderful hiking trails (some very difficult).
