I am sure everyone has heard on the news about the floods in Iowa and the dam that gave way.
Walnut Acres campground on the north side of Monticello Iowa was one of the victims and had to evacuate all of the campers and is now under three to four feet of water. It appears the campground owner has also lost his permanent residence. As the water is receding they have already started the clean up process. I am sure they will rebuild but it will take a long time. I was one of the many that had to leave.
