Hi ya'll,
I have bags i can inflate on the rear springs, what is the order in which to set up the WD hitch and bags,

Do i hook up the trailer and use the bags to level the truck to un-hitched height then attach the WD bars or the other way round?

Thanks
Wayne

The purpose of the WD hitch is to distribute weight evenly to the truck's front and rear axle.  Without the weight distribution, adding weight at the truck's rear end will lift weight off of the front as the body pivots around the rear axle.

If you must use the air bags, set them so the truck is sitting level WITHOUT the trailer being attached.

Then hitch up the trailer and set the weight distributing bars so the truck settles an equal amount at all 4 wheels - that is, it's still level - without increasing the pressure in the air bags.

If you level the truck by increasing the pressure in the bags, you'll back off a corresponding amount on the weight distribution bars, nullifying the WD action of the hitch.
