Okay another stupid question. I have had my 2007 American Eagle for 3 months and recently have needed the AC when camping. (I live in northern Ny so AC isnt used very frequntly). Anyway, I thought I understood the operation of the excessively complex 3 zone thermostat, however, I set it to cool/AC and set the high temp to 80 degrees when in my driveway just to keep it from getting too hot in there, the next morning it seemed to have run all night and it was 67 degrees in the coach. Does anyone have experience with a thermostat like this? Perhaps I just need to call the technical support number.

Each zone has its own temperature setting. What did you set the other three zones to? And which a/cs ran? I gather this is a three a/c rig?

Is it an Atwood Comfort Control System thermostat? That's what I have in my '04 Tradition. If so, I agree it is too complex!

Actually I am not sure what the make is, havent been able to locate that. Yes the rig has 3 units and the rear unit (bedroom) is also a heat pump. My understanding is that zone 1 is livingroom, zone 2 is rear and zone 3 is the center unit. I had them all set to cool and 80 degrees. Perhaps I needed to set a low temp as well?

I figured - American Coach has been using that for some time. It has a nice set of function, but too few buttons, forcing you to cycle through menus to get anything done. PITA, in my opinion.
