For the last 2 years, I had the ultrapower ECM tune on my motorhome, and have never noticed any "butt dyno" like others who spent $700 for this product. I also reported WORSE gas mileage with it installed, and now have the facts to confirm my suspicions. Most owners of this product had reported better MPG, but as we all know, you can't have more power AND mpg out of these things as one or the other is sacrificed for the other. 
During the Ultrapower ECM 2 year run with over 5,600 miles: 7.26 mpg towing small car.
After the Ultrapower ECM removal with 4,260 miles: 7.81 mpg towing small car.
With all the talk about piston's chipping, crank shafts breaking, etc. on this 8.1 liter big block, I'm THRILLED to have removed this and thankful that I was awarded a refund by the seller!
With my new Magnaflow dual exhaust I installed last week, I fully expect closer to 8 mpg soon.
