It's a beautiful place, isn't it? Sure glad they upgraded it to National Park status.

Looks like there was a whole lot of something yellow blooming?

Saw tons of them on Thursday driving from Moab to Cortez. Then hit the fields north of here where they're growing BIG sunflowers for oil. All very pretty. Nice to have enough rain for lots of flowers.

thanks for the photos. I could look at them for hours. The flowers make it unreal; flowers and dunes - strange.
A question: Did you wait for the right angel of the light or was it just luck?
 
Jim:  I have to spend some time doing Photo-Escapes.  Haven't had time to do any for quite a while.  There is some great subject matter up here.  I plan to post a few more today.
