Quartzite name badges
« on: December 29, 2005, 08:51:23 PM »
Mike and I are working on the layout for the Quartzite name badges. We plan on including name (with first name in BIG letters for those of us who are visually impaired), user name (since many of us are only known by our user names), and where you're from. So if you want a name badge for Quartzite, let us know that info and we'll print you up one!

If you have to ask.. We can teach you, but then you are going to need more radios)

Oh, and this is not set in concrete yet but Donna Plumer  (Guest)   Note 100% sure she's going to make it but if she does it will be good for me cause she CAN drive a big rig. unlike my wife who is intimited by a Mercury Tracer

Edit (Modify) time:  Donna is confirmed.. Checking spelling of her name: Donna Plumer, Jackson Michigan (Guest)

Hi Wendy,

MARSHA and TIM Lassen  So California.

Just a thought.  Do you have a printer that you bring along with you in the motor home?  It might be easier for you to print out everyone's names at QZ rather than doing them all at home then find that some attendees don't make it.

Wendy,

I will have 3 printers available; 2 color, 1 b/w. Invariably some people will show up on the spur of the moment.

We have a printer that stays in the motorhome, also one in Mike's computer corner and one in the living room. Doesn't everyone have at least 3 printers????? But we may have to borrow Stormy's 50-amp outlet to run all the computer equipment   ;)  Although, as a retired park ranger, Mike should be able to beg, borrow, or steal some power from the local BLM rangers......

The folks are driving in for the potluck should also request badges. There should be a big group at that event.

Betty B. has NO name badge holders.  Recall I live "fulltime" in my motorhome.  I only have room for my Christmas decorations, Thanksgiving decorations, Easter bunnies, bingo  daubers, new clothes and Terry's new air compressor.

Research not going to well yet.  I asked around the park today and no one knew what a bingo dauber was, though everyone is familiar with bingo.  I assume it has something to do with the game of bingo.

Google says it comes in many colors, even fluorescent ones. I don't play bingo, but this stuff sounds a lot cheaper than using postage stamps to cover the numbers. But, what will I do with my excess 37c stamps that I was planning on saving until I get to be a bingo player?

Smoky Wendy says to look in the stationery lane at Wal-Mart they have a section of Bingo Dabbers or ask for them if you don't find them there.
Also if you ever go to a casino Bingo hall they are all over the players table & most Bingo Hall sell them.
Dabbers are used to mark the numbers called when the Bingo sheet is just a sheet of paper with the Bingo cards printed on them.

Mike and I are working on the layout for the Quartzite name badges.

Wendy.. If you are there yet can you forward my badges to my wife, She and her friend (Donna Plumer) are in a Damon Intruder, 2 doors east of Bernie D, It has the white cage next to it (For the fur kids if they want to go out and play)
Nothing adds excitement like something that is none of your business
My Home is where I park it.
