Does anyone know of a place that I can get the carpet type material to replace the ceiling in my motorhome. I bought it knowing that it had major leaks and roof/ceiling damage. I have replaced the roof and now need to replace the vinyl that is on the ceiling and would like to go with the carpet type material that I see in new homes.
1992 37' Lexington Diesel Pusher by Mallard.  I bought it after it had sat under trees for about 4 years. Changed the batteries and started immediately. Drove it to my home about 35 miles without any problems...after changing a flat on the inside rear.

Any help most graciously appreciated.

I used plastic stuff like they use in bathrooms . They sell it in sheets at Home Depot. This way if you ever get a leak again it won't harm it.

The usual ceiling fabric is ozite. That variety is usually sold in wholesale quantities to factories, but some home centers and fabric shops may carry it as wall or ceiling coverings.

Here is one place I found, but they have the ribbed type rather than smooth

Here is an Ozite page that has a link to Distributors for the product. Yo could contact the distributor to find a retailer.

I will be replacing the ceiling & insulation on ours as well, and was planning to find all the material at a place like Home Depot or Lowes.  It seems most of the products marketed to RVing are 3X the price as the same product packaged differently. I'm hoping to find some thin insulation there as well.  The construction of the one we are picking up (antique Dodge Sportsman..yikes) is close to an old trailer, so mobile home material should work perfect for remodeling or fabing new stuff.
