We gave up trying to camp on holiday weekends in Nebraska State Campgrounds and went to Double Nickel at the I-80 Waco interchange. It is close to I-80 but not really noisy, has lots of shade, fhu, pull thrus, pool, golf course and a store with bar & great showers. It was a great weekend, the family had a great time and we visited with people from, Florida, Texas, Colorado, Alaska, Iowa, Kansas & Nebraska.  There were a lot of overnighters that had interesting stories. The owners are very nice there and even come around every morning to pickup your garbage.

I have family and dear friends in York, NE.  The Double NIckle  has been a favorite campground for us for years.  The convenience of being right off the Interstate is a bonus. The satellite friendly pull throughs are great and the biggest  bonus is that  it is a Passport America Park.  Yes they  pick up your trash daily and the  campground is well maintained.
Thanks for sharing a great little resource of a campground!
