I have a pop up and want to get some thoughts on adding heat over the winter or not.
I live in the Pacific North West. To ask if it rains here in the winter is like asking if a bear...in the woods. Needless to say the moisture can get to many things. Pop up fabric to boot.
I have received conflicting information (dealers as well) that having heat in the unit over the winter attracts moisture (then mold can form on the fabric ). I would think that if you have a constant heat source, how could moisture accumulate? Heating units and operating costs aside, what's you thoughts? Anyone recommend a low watt heating source? I had a 60 watt bulb in there last winter and did okay. Just looking for a better way than the bulb option, as I don't know when it burns out.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
