Pat and I travelled to Old Faithful this morning to meet up with Bill & Jollene Whetsone and Jim & Pat Dick for lunch.  Jollene couldn't make lunch because of the number of tourists coming through the book store.  The rest of us went to lunch and had a great time.  No photos were taken so this was a non-rally.  Sorry about that.

After parting Jim, Pat and Bill went back to work and we made a fast tour of the east side of the park.  We saw lots of buffalo's, a few deer, a couple of swans, lots of ducks and a few elk off in the distance.  The weather had been predicted to have lots of thunderstorms but we missed all of them till we were almost home.  We did see a newly started fire east of Dunraven pass probably started by a dry thunderstorm that passed through before we came over the pass.  The flames were quite high the last we saw.

All in all it was a great day for a wonderful visit.

Hi Jim,

We were really happy you could make it for lunch. We enjoyed seeing you and Pat again and hope to see you again before we leave.

Store was really busy again! :) Finally got home around 9:30. It rained a little just before we closed. Started again after we got home.

Hope that fire doesn't cause any real problems. I was hoping to head that way either Friday or Saturday. Need to get a picture of those elusive bears! :)

Nthing like having a lunch with Jim & Pat (squared).  Jolene enjoyed her portion of the lunch when she got back to the coach.

What a busy season this year!  It has been great and we are setting records in the bookstore all the time.

Our day off today, so far just sitting and drinking coffee.
