Never have been to the Pomona show and it is coming up early October.....Is it worth the time to come up from San diego??  I will go if they have a fair amount of exibits, etc but not if is merely a few exibitors in the tent...

Anybody have prior experience in this show???

We have been to Pomona RIVA Show many many times and always have found it of value. This event has all kinds of RV's on display, trailers, motorhomes, 5th wheels.  "Back in the day"  there were Many many RV's on display.  Nowadays so many manufacturers have closed shop, it seems like smaller displays.  The vendors are  related nowadays more to RV things and fewer Tshirt and jewelry booths.  We like the venue because everything is relatively close by and walking to seminars and displays in reasonable.  But they  also do have pretty good transportation with Trams etc.  It is more than a few vendors in a tent.

Would you be bringing your rig or just driving in from SanDiego for the day?

Betty--thanks for the reply..

We would be driving up for the day...Sounds like it is worthwhile...

We've been to the show the past two years.  We felt last year's show wasn't quite up to the 2008 show but probably still worthwhile.

We don't know if it's worthwhile, but we'll be there. It runs 10/15-24, more like the middle-end of the month. Looking at RVs is always fun.

Not to worry. We won't buy a new coach until we sell the house and we won't sell the house until we get rid of all our junk and we won't get rid of all our junk until we quit traveling 6-8 months a year. Guess we'll have the Winnebago for a long, long time.

One good garage sale and a trip to Goodwill and the junk is history!

Pomona, if they have the stainless cutlery there it is a good show.  If the guy selling the waterless cooking set has a Brit accent, be sure to say hello for us.
