I am way, way out of my comfort zone here  :p - my ex-neighbor asked if I would help her inspect this Yellowstone with an eye towards purchase and I said sure!  Any comments about this particular model - good or bad?  Is there anything in particular I need to pay particular attention to?  I can look over the appliances and make sure stuff works that's supposed to work, but maybe there is a problem area with this model I need to carefully inspect.

The details I know are:

Asking price is $4500
Been stored outside for years
Has a slideout
The owner is going to 'get everything working'

Tow vehicle is an F-250 diesel 4x4 but I think she only has a gooseneck ball in the bed.

The shopper doesn't have a lot of money to spend and is basically looking at this fiver as a place to live.  Thanks for any help!

Check everything as you would on a motorhome, except the engine and drive train :)

Get the GVWR and do the math against her truck's weight limits.

Should be a DOT plate on the left outside near the front with the GVWR.  Check our libray, there is a guide on judging used trailers in it.

Its probably going to need tires. Be sure to factor that into the cost. ;D
