In our area there are several independent RV service centers that carry it for their own work and sell it to people who are working on their own. Not cheap.

If you find yourself near Elkhart, Indiana (RV manufacturing capital of the world) there are several surplus stores that stock paneling.

There is nothing unique about RV paneling, but you won't find much of a selection of paneling in home stores any more. Guess it has gone out of style. If you can find a place that specializes in mobile home supplies, they will likely have more, or at least a source to order it.
Lowes and Depot probably can order panels from a catalog, even though they don't stock much except some cheap junk.

Thank you, I have found the same thing. paneling is limited in the home stores. I am considering using luan and wall paper to redo the bedroom.

The only real difference in RV paneling is that it will usually be pretty thin and have all the trim necessary to install it without fasteners. Like the strips that go between the sheets so it can be glued up and the edges look nice. If you like regular paneling, and can get the trim, it would be fine. The RV paneling would normally be solid (no grooves) and finished when it is installed. At one time, RV paneling was fastened up with little plastic discs and the screws went into the middle of them. That made it a little more decorative and that can still be used, of course, along with strips for the edges.

I wanted to add that we tried to use reg paneling you find at a lowes. We did not have good luck with it. The walls shortly started to warp from the humidity as we tend to travel in the southern states :/
