I have a 1997 E150 conversion van that needs a little boost. Any suggestions?

A performance chip is probably the quickest and easiest thing to try. I have a 2002 Ford F250 with the 5.4 and have considered trying one. Here's some info. If you get one, let me know how it works. Just too much money for me right now!  BTW, a K&N filter will help also.

Are you looking for towing grunt or high end horsepower? As mentioned, a chip though pricey will help along with a K&N and an exhaust system upgrade. Don't expect miracles, the 5.4 is somewhat limited by displacement and emission requirements especially in a heavy van.
