The fun continues;

The volunteer snowball is getting larger.....This is the type of information I look for when searching for a volunteer location, and the information is not easily located without direct contact with the parks,  so I started a collection.  I will eventually get all 393 NPS Sites listed, as I receive the information from them.  I'm going to consolidate the information from all NPS sites on NPSVIP Network.  The NPSVIP Network requres registration.  So far, I have not had any issues with the site that concerns me, and the NPS Areawide Volunteer Coordinator that Administrators the site has been responsive to questions.

A lot of the NPS Historic Sites are going way of modern Media on twitter, facebook, similar sites.  They assign Park Rangers as to setup the sites and maintain the media sites, that's one reason they won't have a .gov in their http address.  Fort Sumter just recently went online with facebook and twitter.

Hope this is helpful information for folks that like to volunteer with the NPS.
