We are heading to NC from MI on Saturday. The last time we went we just barely made it up one mountain. I think that mountain was in West Virginia, but not sure. The others weren't quite as high/steep. My husband is thinking we may be better off going via I77. Anyone familiar with this route? We are taking our grand kids (3 and 6) and would like to stop about 8 or 9 hours from home and came overnight. Any suggestions? We have a 2001 Holiday Rambler motor home if that helps. Thanks for any help.
