Blue Bird announced today that their entering a pre-packaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Plant has been closed but they hope to reopen with a new loan, etc.

I was concerned when the last of the Luces sold the business. When George Sr was running it he told me that as long as he and his sons ran it, they'd be in business. I was with him in '61 on a weekend trip with college students that were working in Ft. Valley when he had his first heart attack.
A great family, all of whom I am proud to have known. And many of them are Asbury College grads.
