I need help locating the heater valves on my Cummins Engine.  I called Freightliner and they sent over a cut sheet, but it's still vague to me.  From what I can see there are 3 valves that could come into play...two are in line with the red hose.  Then there's valve that looks completely different and hangs down on the side of the motor, but it's also on the supply hose.  The tech thought that possibly the lack of hot air issue we are having could be caused from a valve that is closed.  He said that there are two valves, one on the supply and one on the return.  He said the supply line is on the top of the engine beside the tranny.  The return in on the drivers side by the water pump inlet.  I have a "handy" man that might be able to turn these valves if I can locate them.  My husband doesn't get home until dark and then can't work on the rig.  If anyone has any expertise in this area I would greatly appreciate their input.  Thanks

If you join the AccessFreightliner site, you can get the actual build drawings & parts list for your VIN. It takes awhile to get approval for access and you have to use it regularly or lose it, but it has some great tech info.

You might also join the Freightliner Chassis Owners Club and their Yahoo group. Lots of do-it-yourself help available.

Thanks Gary.  What are the requirements to join either of these groups?  Are there membership fees associated with them?

No cost to either.  There is also the Freightliner chassis owners club that is part of the FMCA clubs.  For that you have to be a member of the FMCA and pay to be a member of the FCOC.  The site on Yahoo is free even if you are not a member of the FMCA FL club.
