Just stayed here. It's a lovely small campground (13 sites) with water and electric and a dumping station for the campground, very reasonably priced at this time of year ($13/night, I think). The campground's right on the lake, really beautiful. I wasn't wildly impressed with the hiking trails in the park though if you count the linked equestrian trails there are plenty -- nothing wrong with them, hiking through pine forests (rather than hardwood) just not my thing. DH didn't try the on-site golf course (too cold for his taste the few days we were there), but it comes highly recommended and looked nice.
There are cabins on the other side of the lake from the campground (about a 3/4 mile walk via a lovely boardwalk and some trails) that are CCC vintage and pleasant, but pricey IMO for what you get. That said, if one wanted to bring a larger group or meet non-RVing friends these would make it doable. There was also a nice playground near the camp office (and cabins).
