have lance 1010 tcwith very noisy generator. anyone have same problems and beat way to quit it down?

We are talking about a subjective condition here.  Are you basing the noise level on comparison to other generators or you just think it is noisy?  It's my opinion, nearly all generators are "noisy" and I don't run mine any more than I just have to.  But, according to the specs, this generator should meet the NFS requirement of 60 dB(A) at 50 ft., which is pretty standard.  Yet, that's still pretty noisy if you are sitting by it ( 70 dB(A) at 10 ft).  If your noise complaint is while you are inside your camper, you may want to inspect how the unit is mounted.  Did the camper mfgr use adequate sound deadening mounts (rubber or whatever) and compartment wall sound deadening insulation or is it basically just sitting in a compartment?

Just a matter of fact, the noise level will go up depending on load.  Running a generator close to max load will result in substantially higher noise level.
