Queen Bed
« on: February 10, 2011, 07:05:43 AM »
Has anyone put a regular queen bed in the cab over of your camper?  Is the weight to much for the cabover?  I ask becuase I have issues sleeping the flimsy bed that is up there now.

Get a memory form mattress topper instead.  They are cheaper and lighter and oh so comfortable.  Costco has good prices on them.

My Sunlite Apache 850 that I bought new in 2003 had a Queen Innerspring Mattress and it was Cheep... Slept Cheep and you could feel the Bones in it :(  Last spring I picked up a slightly used 2008 Sunlite/Apache 865 and the previous owner had replaced the mattress with a Memory Foam and it's Much Better... Depending on the camper you could have headroom issues with a topper... ??
