2012 Ford Focus with automatic info FYI
I went to the Ford site last night and looked at their recently introduced 2012 Ford Focus. Looks good. I also looked at the owners manual and there is instructions for recreational towing both manual and automatic transmission (AT) 2012 Focus. The auto trans is 4 down tow able with no mileage restrictions and at speeds up to 70 MPH. I was not sure if this is only the 6 speed AT or both AT offered. It looked like the higher end of the Focus line only came with 6 speed. So if you are thinking of using a Focus as a Toad and want a AT check out the 2012 model.
