I'm an RV newbe hoping to upgrade from a 21' TT to a 2010 26' 5W (8,000 dry, 2800 capacity). My questions are:
Size truck needed? I'm guessing a 3/4 ton diesel. How much engine? What suspension? Do the Big 3 make trucks with the necessary 5W towing capacity and options?
What kind of hitch? Dealer might be able to help but I am mindful that they are trying to sell units. Not always the most cost effective or best fit.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
