anyone use Clearwire internet service?
« on: March 28, 2011, 09:29:52 PM »
A new company I started with as a side job (no paycheck for 8 months & counting with the other job) is releasing a version of clearwire internet service.

Anyone have any experience with the company be it good or bad?

I use Clear for my internet service at home and on the road. There 4g is spotty, but 3g seems fairly reliable. They are growing from what i hear.

Clearwire developed WiMax for Sprint and both networks run on it. It can be less expensive than Sprint but I believe you don't have access to Sprint roaming if you are off network and a Clearwire customer. Sprint has an ownership interest in Clearwire. One negative down the road is that Sprint may switch from WiMax to LTE, leaving Clearwire in limbo.
