I was all set to buy my first popup this morning.  It was an 02 Coleman Bayside elite.  I learned enough last night on the forum to opt out of the ABS roof.  The RV was in great shape and used very little.  Priced at 4700.  Im glad I found out about the roof before coming home with it though, so thanks for the info in the forum.  Now I am back to the drawing boards... 

What year range should I hold out for?

Who makes a solid popup? (Roof included)

$4500.00 is my range



 
I think I have a better question than what I previously posted.

Are there  other major issues like the ABS roof on the Colman that I should stay away from on other pop ups?
 
We had a Rockwood popup for a couple of years. It had a 1-piece roof called "Filon". Don't know if that was just Rockwood's name for it or what. It was like a textured Fiberglas. It was only 2 years old when we traded for our TT but we never had any roof problems. Really liked everything about it.
