Article retrieved from an issue of Popular Mechanics from 1976 about a Champion Class C motorhome. Ironically; the motto of this particular coach was same of the new age smaller coaches of today; "Small is the new Big".

And that as of today; Champion's manufactured home division is still "alive and well" and in existance in Auburn Hills, Michigan while I believe what was their RV and Bus division is now the Champion Bus division of Thor.
