Has anyone had user experience with this POI database? I have a couple of questions. I use a Nuvi 1450.

I have their POI file installed on my Garmin 255W, with an alert set for 2 miles out. I use the 12'6" and lower file, since my Coachmen is 11'6".

Dutch, thanks for the reply. I just bought the download yesterday, so obviously not used yet. I also set the alert at 2 miles. The question I have is - do I have to open the Route1 POI when I start driving for the day, or will the alerts just automatically appear without me having to do anything other than just turning the Nuvi 1450 on?

The alerts will automatically appear and a tone will sound when you hit the alert range. Check the screen though, to make sure the alert is for the road you're on, not another nearby route. I've gotten an alert a couple of times while on an Interstate, where I knew it wasn't possible to have an overpass that low. In both cases the alert was for an adjacent parallel road. It does get your attention though! ;D
