I decided the front steps were a little flimsy on my 2011 Open Range JT337RLS or I am a little over weight or both.

I made a couple of brackets then hinged square tubing to the brackets. The brackets fit tight to the square tubing to hold them in place so they won't flop around.

The other end of the tubing has a nut welded to it with a large bolt screwed in to adjust for uneven areas. Made a big difference when going in and out of the trailer.
